Looking at what I am eating

I spent a lot of time thinking that I knew what I “should be” eating. But going back to the basics was really helpful for me to see what a balanced plate with nutrient dense foods should look and taste like. A wonderful resource is MyPlate (https://www.myplate.gov/ ). You can find recipes, planner worksheets, info graphics, general guidance and even an app for your phone with daily reminder opt-ins. One element that I found especially helpful was the plate graphic itself. The visual of the food pyramid never really became part of how I could think about an individual meal, but the plate is a different story all together. Check it out and let me know what you think!
